Blessings of Good Friends

Today Carson got a wonderful surprise!  He got a birthday card & gift in the mail!!  Just last week I made a post about a learning experience for Carson and our family.  In case you missed it a quick summary: Grandmom always sent birthday cards and gifts and last week Carson was excited to pick up the mail, hoping for birthday mail, only to have it dawn on all of them that Grandmom would no longer be sending birthday cards full of love.

I certainly wasn't fishing for birthday cards, but simply sharing a family learning experience.  However, our very dear friend Dagmar and her family, Ed, Cory, and Haley happen to read my blog and took it upon themselves to make sure that Carson got birthday mail!  I can't tell you the surprise and happiness that this act of friendship brought.

I am so blessed to have such wonderful, thoughtful friends.  I am grateful to them for their act of loving kindness.  I am grateful for them being so good natured and big hearted and sharing in our family's joy of celebrating Carson's birthday!
